About Us
Bruce and Colleen Lang live 25 minutes north of Asheville, NC in a lovely farm cottage alongside the Dillingham River (Big Creek). Married in 1993, they enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains with their daughter/neighbor, Suzanne.

Born in New York City on St. Patrick's Day, Bruce Lang has had a love for singing and has played several instruments for most of his life. Growing up in a musical family, he developed a respect and love for various styles of music, which is apparent with his diverse repertoire. For the twelve years prior to his move to North Carolina, Bruce was a member and leader of The Dixie Doughboys, a Western Swing band who were a favorite of Swing and Country music fans and dancers alike. These days, as well as performing as a soloist and with his band, Bruce keeps busy performing with some of the country's finest bands and musicians when not recording at Big Creek!

Colleen Lang hails from Atlanta, GA, where she was born on May 21st, and moved to the North Carolina mountains in the late-1980s. Colleen is the eyes of Big Creek, providing artistic designs for CD inserts, labels, etc. She has always been artistically talented, as shown by her interests over the years, from oil painting to running her own graphic design company. She enjoys designing and working in her magnificent garden.
